6.35 BBC News
6.55 EastEnders
7.25 Doctor Who
8.25 The Green Green Grass
9.15 EastEnders
9.45 The Two Ronnies

Maybe so, but it's quite clear how ITV are going to change it to comply with the respective lengths of Creature Comforts and The Booze Cruise. Rolling Eyes

EDIT: The BBC One schedule is odd actually considering Doctor Who is confirmed for Xmas Day at 7pm.

It's okay. Let's hope they fix the £1.95p thing though. Rolling Eyes

Doctor Who is confirmed to be going out at 7pm on Xmas Day now, on the official website, altering the original schedule.

BBC One on Xmas Day now looks like this:

2.00 Top of the Pops
3.00 The Queen
3.15 FILM: Shrek
4.50 FILM: Toy Story 2
6.15 BBC News
6.30 EastEnders
7.00 Doctor Who
8.00 The Green Green Grass Christmas Special
9.05 EastEnders
9.35 The Two Ronnies Christmas Special
10.35 Little Britain Christmas Special
11.05 BBC News

So the main early evening entertainment is an hour long special of a comedy series that wasn't very good and was basically one joke throughout.

Probably the worst schedule ever, you can see how desperate BBC1 are for another high rating mainstream sitcom

Schedules are currently being printed in TV magazines so whatever the chap "pad" says is sheer speculation. Firstly Shrek will show for 80 minutes NOT 95. BBC1 NEVER has 20 minutes of a news programmes on Christmas Day. Green Green Grass is 50 minutes long NOT 65. Outtake TV is 30 minutes NOT 35 etc etc. although I have devised a couple of speculative schedules for fun, I really do not see the point in keeping devising schedules as it is rather daft!!! Especially making statements such as "This is how the BBC1 schedule will now run" as if it's gospel!!!!

Do shut up, Wicko, won't you, with your patronising "chap" comments amongst others. Rolling Eyes How many bloody times would you like me to tell you they were schedules from Digiguide? Get a grip.

As yet, the schedules are the same as I posted above, though they are almost certainly going to change.

A pretty poor schedule other than Doctor Who, which obviously is the main highlight. Other than that there is the Two Ronnies Christmas Special which may do well even though it is on rather late. What I am surprised with is the repeat of Shrek, considering it was shown last year, and the Eastenders at 21.00 - I thought there would be a half hour episode either side of Doctor Who however this obviously wouldn't work using the other programmes on the schedule.

Ooooh get you.............I was merely saying ....oh never mind! I KNOW you were referring to digiguide!!! The word chap is a term of endearment in my neck of the woods, if you find pleasantries patronising you need to get out more.

If anybody needs to "get out more", it is you. Rolling Eyes

Anyway confirmed BBC One with Doctor Who at 7pm, The Green Green Grass at 8pm and EastEnders at 9pm. I thought EastEnders was back to 2 episodes on Christmas day but clearly not. Oh well, Coronation Street will probably proceed it on ITV. Not sure about Emmerdale, it appears to have no choice other than to clash with Doctor Who.

Pats pad on head reassuringly.....there there! I am too old and too bloody knackered to argue with people over Christmas schedules. I probably do need to get out more. You're right. Since my wife died a couple of months ago I havn't really been in the mood for going out. Still, I apologise for upsetting you pad. It's Christmas.....almost so I'm not going to intimidate you.

Do you not think Emmerdale will clash with My Family or has it been confirmed that Emmerdale will be on at 7? I thought Emmerdale was on at 6 with Millionaire at 7, Corrie at 8 and Booze Cruise at 9. Maybe wrong. What does digiguide say as I havn't got it?
