No it's supposed to be that length, we're going to have an hour long Doctor Who episode at Christmas next year as well.

They're getting a bit ahead of themselves arnt' they?

If the new Doctor remains as annoying as he was in the 'Children in Need' short throughout the entire series - popularity might not be as high this time next year.

Well if he spends most of the time in bed as has been suggested then people won't give him a go.

How can people judge an episode when it hasn't even been shown yet. I reckon he'll make a cracking doctor and like anything in this country, people like to bring success down and kick it to death without even judging things fairly first!!!!

Still, Corrie and Doctor Who partially clash. And Emmerdale is on at a rather odd time. These are still subject to change (and probably will).

Well the BBC certinately know what it means by Christmas Specials. I'd like to see these on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day, and Shrek was shown last year.

Hmm, two Eastenders. At least it's not like Corrie, where it's all crammed into one.

Well, with all the business to do, I better my Sky+ box warmed up Very Happy

No surprise there - Christmas Emmerdale, Christmas Corrie, a film at 9 that has nothing to do with Xmas at all, ohh! Once again, ITV you've let us down. Crying or Very sad

Does anyone know anything or nothing or no one (my Vicky Pollard impression) about fives christmas line up? They usually have the same ol same ol...

I doubt they'd show Shrek again after it got it's first showing only last year. I think that'll change again, and my money's on Wogan appearing somewhere on Christmas day, possibly after the Queen?

I do agree that Tennant will be a great Doctor, I just hate the idea of The Doctor not being in the show much. This is where the show will be relaunched again if The Doctor isn't in the show much for the public to guage his character I doubt they'll comeback in March. And I do hope that The Tenth Doctor will take charge a lot more than The Ninth Doctor did. Don't give me that sexism argument because in the old days The Doctor was cleverer than EVERYBODY male or female.

But we don't know that he wont be in the episode much. Just because he's going to be put to bed due to a glitch with his re-generation doesn't mean he's not going to be in it! I suspect he will offer a lot of guidance to Rose and Mickey in order to rid the world of killer Santa's and over excited Christmas trees!

And, is Little Britain really suitable christmas day viewing? I have a feeling that it isn't and anyway, it's not really a Christmas special. The specials are on BBC3. It's the last episode of the current series and is still scheduled for Thursday December 15th at 9.00pm!

There is every chance that Shrek will be on again. After all The Grinch premiered in 2003 and has been on every Christmas since!

Yup same old shi.........

On Christmas Day it is wall to wall films from about 1.00pm until 12.00am. Though as ever Five will be doing their Cult Comedy Strand again this year, not sure what programmes are being show, but I bet there are few out of the Thames archive.

I'm looking foward to The Booze Cruise 2 the most, not much on the BBC worth watching IMO, but if the schedules are still correct than it'll be Little Britain mad on Christmas Day, with an episode on BBC1 at 10.35pm and a South Bank Show about it on ITV just after 11.00pm.
