It looks as though BBC1 are showing Breakfast this Christmas every morning while BBC2 is showing CBBC/CBeebies from 7am until 9am and then handing over to BBC1 from 9am from Christmas Eve onwards.
It's good to see BBC2 doing what it does best this Christmas, showing lots of old movies and on Christmas Eve, BBC2 are showing 8 straight hours of back to back films according to the Mirror Xmas guide yesterday. Great stuff Very Happy

I think this will be the eventual line up.

BBC One
6.05 News
6.15 Dr Who
7.15 Eastenders
7.45 The Green Green Grass
8.45 Eastenders
9.15 French and Saunders Christmas Special
10.15 News

ITV1
5.15 Who Wants To Be a Millionare? Celebrity
6.15 Emmerdale
7.15 Creature Comforts
7.45 Coronation Street
8.45 The Booze Cruise 2: The Treasure Hunt
10.45 ITV News
11.00 The South Bank Show

That way none of the soaps clash, though poor Emmerdale is up against Doctor Who (this however was inevitable).

What about the Wogan TV comeback special recorded a few weeks back?

Surely that'll make an appearance over this festive period- perhaps even Christmas day?

Mentioned a few pages back about the Radio Times doing their usual trick of bringing forward the publication dates leading up to their double issue. In their haste to get the one for the 3rd to 9th December - out today - they left the selling price off the cover. Is causing a few problems in those corner shops who don't use barcode scanners!

No it's supposed to be that length, we're going to have an hour long Doctor Who episode at Christmas next year as well.

TV Quick have a Corrie cover for the 2nd week running with Tracy and Charlie this week, as do TV Choice.
Whats on tv have someone from EE as usual - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Next issue on sale Thursday 1st December, before the previous issue has even started! Then it says the Christmas Issue will be on sale next Saturday but ive found in the past most shops dont put them on display until the Tuesday after.

Yes I've found that to be the case as well, although I was lucky 2 years ago when the Christmas TV Times was in my local shop on the Sunday (it must have been delivered there on the Saturday). It is a bit confusing for the local shops though. This morning I got the new TV Times from my local spa shop and the shop assistant said the new issue is on sale on Tuesday, but she had a look in the back and she came out with the new issue full of apoligies.
I think I might try Woolworths when the next issue comes out on Thursday Smile

They were all on the shelf in my local shop this morning, and they have taken away the issue covering this weeks tv, which must be confusing for those people who normally buy their tv guide on a Saturday. How many people will not bother looking at the date and buy the wrong issue.

Yes they do that. They either have the problem of trying to stock twice as many mags in the same amount of space, withhold the issues until the usual date, or remove the previous one as soon as the next one comes out!

No it's a brand new Christmas special- the first episode with the new Doctor David Tennant...it's called "The Christmas Invasion".

It'll set up the new series which will probably start in Febuary/March time.

They're getting a bit ahead of themselves arnt' they?

If the new Doctor remains as annoying as he was in the 'Children in Need' short throughout the entire series - popularity might not be as high this time next year.
