Well according to Digital Spy, the Christmas bumper issues go sale from Saturday 3rd December and the BBC will be issuing a complete rundown to this year's Christmas telly from next Monday 21st November.
The rough early guides in the papers should be coming out next Thursday 24th November, so not much longer to go now
Does anybody know if there has been any sneak previews in the Sunday papers about the Christmas TV guides. It should be out on Thursday in the papers, but the Sunday tabloids normally have a preview section about it.
We will definatley be getting the rough guides this week though, as the BBC reveal highlights of the Christmas schedules this Tuesday and the week after on the 3rd December, the Christmas Radio Times is being released.
Highlights include Derren Brown - The Heist, in which he convinces business men and women to take part in an armed robbery, a new Comic Strip Presents and Ricky Gervais meets Larry David.
Jamie Oliver goes head to head with the Queen, while the Dirty Tricks team perform the Magic of Jesus.
ITV usually reveals its schedules for its channels around the same time as the BBC do. It's really not long now until we find out preliminary listings anyway.
Sadly, the preliminary listings are so unaccurate and full of "TBA"s that it's scarcely worth looking at them.

Yeah, you can get a rough idea but it's only when the Chriatmas double issue tv listings magazoines come out that you can be certain. BBC1 are going to have a big job trying to win Christmas night without a big comedy special.
Well they have EastEnders and Doctor Who on Christmas Day. That's a strong line up IMO, especially with the undoubted other treats in store.
6.50 EastEnders
7.30 Doctor Who
8.25 EastEnders
9.05 TBA
To be honest, with that schedule ITV are screwed. Emmerdale is stuck unless it airs for half an hour at 6.20pm, Coronation Street has no option but to go up against Doctor Who or at 9pm.
BBC One will have ITV1 exactly where it wants it this year.

I think ITV might put Harry Poitter on Christmas Day. It may go out before Christmas but when thr BBC announced Doctor Who on Christmas Day they might think 'let's spoiul their party.' The thing is Christmas doesn't generate much ad revenue, would they want to waste Potter there when it can bring in more ad money for ITV at a different time of year?
Well in another TV forum, one member states that the early Christmas TV guides are coming out in tomorrow's papers. I'm not sure if this is true though, does anybody have any confirmation of this or the exact day when they will be released, thanks.

I think we should watch the commercials this evening. If it's true they'll advertise it tonight for certain.

Harry Potter is to air on December 3 on ITV1, so no.
