One of those programmes with mass gay appeal, one assumes!

Ho Ho HO!

Anyway, LoveTV!, what's the deal with all the repeats in the schedule? You don't need to have Trish on 10000000 times a day (exageration (spelling?), I know you;ve only got her on 3 Fuxxing times! ). Frankly, I wouldn't want to see her on my TV set at any point over the holiday let alone on xmas day itself. I wouldn't be watching much ITV at all anyway, so here is my BBC1 schedule

5.00 am - CEEFAX with xmas music - of course!
6.00 am - Kids stuff - get that out of the way before I wake up
11.00 am - Kids film
1.00 pm - News
1,30 pm - Classic comedy
3.00 pm - Queen
3.15 pm - Big film for families
a bit later pm - New xmas comedy but not My Family and other crap stuff, more like Little Britain or Alan Partridge. Last years Cruise of the gods for example.
somewhere along the line - A late big film for adults

can't be bothered with the rest, but there wouldn't be any News 24, bargain *unt, or any of that crap daytime stuff. It'd be good to have a variety show too, just for ya granny!

Last year I think ITV2 had the usual mix of Judge Judy and soap repeats with a sprinkling of christmas themed repeats. Nobody watches ITV2, BBC3, BBC 4 etc on Xmas Day though anyway.

I wonder what the ITV News Channel, another channel that won't have much of an audience on christmas day, will show, any guesses on that one?

Yeh ITV2 had the previous years ITV panto, a documentary on Polar Bears, The Railway Children, Blind Date: Kiss and Tell Special, Christmasses from Hell, and Corrie / Emmerdale / Judge Judy / Sally Jesse.

BBC Choice as was then, had a Shooting Stars night, back to back episodes of the comedy quiz.

I expect the ITVNC will probably have a 5 minute summary at the top of the hour, probably by the on duty ITV1 newscaster, and the rest will be pre-recorded Reviews of the Year / Lookback at the War on Iraq.

Wonder who get's the short straw on BBC & ITV News this year for the News shift ?

You would think that itv and bbc would hire reporters and presenters for their channels that dont believe in christmas, and consider it as just a normal day, so that they could do the christmas day updates. WHo didi itv news (on itv1) use last year?
