Christmas Idents

I know the Xmas idents have been and gone with the exception of Sky's but today was the first chance I had to catch SKYmovies Max and SKYmovies Cinema idents and they, imho, totally blow away anything done by any other channel, with the possible exception of the BBC 2 Snowman ident.

Sky Movies Max has to be the best, absolutely fantastic.

Sky Movies Cinema, mean and moody but very well 'remixed' for christmas.

I agree totally, I've always been a fan of Premier idents, and these are really nice. I makes you wonder why Sky News looks just so damn horrible (although functional)

Not too keen on the robot one, a bit reminiscant of the ITV1 reindeers, but the others are brilliant, nice and more importantly very christmassy.

I am in love with both Sky Movies and Sky Sports! They are, IMO, worth paying for even if you just watch the presentation all day long!

Definately! I've always been impressed with the movies presentation and the current red, white and blue look on Sky Sports, particularly now they're using the Sky font is particularly impressive. Nearly every aston animates and has a sound effect. A lot of effort goes into them and it shows.

I don't think much of that Robot one, but I like the Father Christmas one.

S4C had a really good Christmas Ident this year. It has to be one of the best!

The BBC TWO one where the 2 makes a Snow 2 is also really good too!

The normal Sky Movies presentation is great, IMHO the best pres of any channle at the moment

Watching live Premiership matches, or matches of big importance is brilliant. Have you seen the 3D graphic effects they use over the pitch etc. I'm talking 3D Big-Screens, and a massive 3D Trophy over the half-way line, with both team names swirling round it and the SKY SPORTS logo at the bottom, saying 'LIVE, NEXT'.
Absolutely Fantastic.

While I'm here I just want to say...look at that Cinema Ident! Think of all the work that has gone into that just for Christmas!

Yep, that's exactly what I'm on about. It's brilliant!

I haven't seen the video, but the stills look fantastic. Better than some primary school kids a) dancing or b) in a nativity. Or just putting a few stars around the logo!!

Why do Sky save their best idents for their premium channels!
