Christmas Idents

E4 has its Xmas idents running .. bit early I think!
Normally the BBC run its teasers and trailer bumpers in the first weeks of December .. has anyone seen any sign of them yet?
Also, speaking of Xmas, I just spotted this on the BBCi Christmas site (bbc.co.uk/christmas)

Is it just me or is that the old 'Aerial' ident with some snowflakes!?  Perhaps BBC TWO won't have Xmas idents this year, cos normally they'd be ready by now!!  <panic>!!

As founder member of the RTVCC I remember first spotting the BBC One and 2 special bumpers around the 13th December-BTW I think this Christmas spirit thing is a bit TOO early this year,I mean Parke are advertising for Christmas 200 2!!!!!!

They were the first to advertise in JanFeb 2001!!! so you can get a hamper for Xmas 2001

The Big Breakfast always has there Christmas logos up 1st week of December.

The BB as always have their christmas decorations up, they've done a good job, even better than last year although its close with the year before that. New astons and a new clock, bring out every set of curtains they have had and put them up, along with loads of decorations and christmasy news. Very good, who cares what GMTV do, the only people that watch it are mad! (am I right or am I right?)

In reply to Bail's thread on the same subject, I think the main reason the picture has been used is because a) they don't want to reveal the new xmas ident and b) because it probably isn't ready yet!

I've been keeping an eye out for E4 but not spotted it yet - they seem determined to use the live action 'Ident #xx' ones.

I thought it went into a timewarp on Carlton just then. That JR Hartley ad for the Yellow Pages came up for the first time in years (blown up to 16:9 but didn't look that bad) I wondered why, considering the front cover said 1991/92 but at the end, it reveals the actor recently died.
