Channel 5 seem to have something new again this year. Presumably this is going to be part of a wider range of idents, as it's not particularly festive feeling just from this first one.
My apologies, I was under the impression that the fire was a Christmas one, maybe I'm mistaking it for the one with the dog in front of the fire.
That Channel 5 ident looks gorgeous and very well animated. Like you say, it does seem like it's the start to a story, possibly connected to the charity appeal on the 21st?
The RT have a new line for themselves "Your quality guide to TV & Radio" it's probably stated so they can justify to themselves the high cover price which will probably hit £3 p/w next month.
And if indeed we are, safe to say that Applemask won't be too impressed. I know I'm going on about him again - but I *do* enjoy his Christmas Wrappings...
