Christmas Idents 2018

To be honest, I'm more interested in what BBC Two this year what with their new look. It means they can finally use something different, the first time in years.

Maybe they could have something like an advent calendar with the two flaps opening to reveal something different each day?

Do you remember when BBC2 did an advent calendar back in 1992. They had some small piece of programming every night (sometimes Christmas related) which they played in the early evening and also had closedown.

Not Christmas more a countdown, but ITV did for the World Cup.

Annoyingly it’s made me crave a version of Christmas lights version of this... (one of my all time favourite idents, by the way.)

Oh come on, peeps. Well at least they are bothering this year. I like the look of the nighttime ones with everything lit up. Should look nice.

I'd rather have this, than last years effort of a three second animation looped constantly..

2014 was still a great year for xmas pres at the bbc. I would rather have that than money being wasted.

Indeed it was. BBC One had lovely set of idents, programme themed but not focusing on the talent with a lovely winter setting and gorgeous music without a campaign video or looped clips (even though I enjoyed last year’s)

Wasn’t 2014’s BBC Two just a re use of the 2011 package, very nice as it was?
