Christmas Idents 2018

That trailer has a lovely simple, festive design and previews a wonderful entertaining line up. I’m very jealous.

7pm Emmerdale and UTV use the welders ident. Excluding news junctions UTV appear to be using a mix of 'normal' and 'xmas' idents....ITV Network in London I presume are using only Xmas ones on all junctions excluding news.

Leeds playout must be held responsible for the random mess of UTV's current idents/branding being all over the show.

This is completely normal for ITV/UTV to do at this point in time....

London are airing all ITV Christmas idents batch, no sign of normal idents thus far as I have been watching.

Does UTV know they are part of ITV? Rest of England and Wales get the Christmas presentation, and it seems playout team have fallen asleep at the UTV playout.

Well, for people who would prefer it if TV stations started showing Christmas idents a good bit later than 1st December, this has to be a Good Thing to some extent...

Although on the flip side if we're going to get a post everytime they play out a non-Christmas ident I hope they use them sooner rather than later.

Well, yes - there *is* that drawback.

UTV pres is a total mess all year round.

It would just be so much more streamlined if they called it itv.
