Christmas Idents

I know, but it's November now! (November 2005)

Nice to see that, of all past idents, the 1999 one was mentioned - Quite possibly my favourite BBC ONE festive ident, great music and all.

I doubt them bouncy puddings will get re-used again; I'd say it's more likely that BBC TWO will repeat their lot.

I'm most curious about Channel 4; not only about what the Xmas ident may be if/when it appears, but also whether they will add new 4's to the set at the start of the new year.

Glad i'm not the only one. If ever there was a poll of All-time favourite BBC Ident (which there won't be) - I'd vote that one.

I remember when it first launched and my family going "ooh christmas is coming now isn't it!" Nowadays it tends to just be me who notices them. Rolling Eyes

ho ho ho....bah!

Any news from anywhere (albeit secretive or otherwise) about what shape or form BBC1's ident will be this festive season?

Someone somewhere must surely know.......

Well of course someone somewhere will know.

I of course couldn't and wouldn't say if I did because if I did that then you would accuse me of teasing in an "I know and you don't way". Of course, I wouldn't do that. And of course, even if I did know, I couldn't tell you.

Eloquent and intelligent as usual marksi. You hint that you may know something. Without being conspicuous and revealing, can you say whether or whether not some of us may or may not be disappointed this year......if you know what i mean! Obviously I expect another cleverly constructed answer that will hint at nothing, but hey, that's life!!!!

Well, who's going to open "The Official Christmas Ident Thread 2005"? Time's getting on. Unless you want me to make this thread the one. Very Happy

I bet you any money the puddings are going to be recycled on BBC1 this year. Fincham's going to do a 2003 on us.

If I see those Puddings again this year....I shall...kick the TV screen in. (The bedroom one obviously....I'm not footing the 19" HD Plasma).
