Can anyone elaborate as to what the new BBC Two Christmas ident will be this year?
And does the soundtrack of the new BBC One Christmas ident contain children singing the BBC One theme tune?

I'm interested in the audio of the BBC1 ident. Remind me again, you heard it on Radio Sheffield? I live in Sheffield, so I wonder If they will play it again. If they were singing to the BBC ONE theme tune then I'd say it's highly likely that that will be the audio for the ident.

Yes I did hear it on BBC Radio Sheffield at the top of the hour. It's usually played when there is a long junction so they have this promotion then the full Radio Sheffield TOTH music. It's been on at least three times over the weekend so I would anticipate it being on again.

Oh dear, are we going to have these style of countdowns for the next 5 days ? Even kids don't get this excited about their presents, and you're 43.

Must admit that though I thought the new BBC Digital ad with all the heads was sickening, the Christmas version is rather nice.

Still hope the BBC don't launch their Christmas idents until - well, Christmas!

Also notice ITV programmings are now being sponsored by Rennie!

I have to agree the Christmas one is quite nice but the original makes my skin crawl!!

Kids don't get this excited about presents? I think they do sunshine. Any parent would understand that.

And just to annoy you even more pal:

4 days, 21 hours, 17 minutes to go! Now cut out the arrogance and p*ss off!

Hope it's worth the wait Joe. After all we've only been waiting since the last Christmas Ident for a new one!! How quickly Christmas comes around. Incidentally Joe, you are one of the few people who has never been insulting to me in this forum. For that cheers!! A very merry Christmas to you.

Thank you, and a merry Christmas to you as well Steve. I bet you're thrilled that the new ident is going to debut on your birthday. We'll find out soon whether or not it will be a nice present for you, fingers crossed!

Anyway, have a great day on Saturday Steve!

Thanks Joe, but I'll be 37 on Monday December 19th!!!
