As we are now easing our way into the early hours of Christmas Eve, I’d like to take the opportunity to wish all who contribute to TV Forum a very happy Christmas and all the best for the new year, and indeed the new decade!
As always a special thank you to Asa and the moderating team for keeping the forum running smoothly over the last year, and to all those working over the holiday season to bring us not only our favourite TV programmes but also our favourite idents.
Hear! Hear! Merry Christmas to all of you and thanks for your interactions this year. I’d like to make a special mention to those of you/us inside and outside of broadcasting who will be on duty throughout the period, and, even more importantly, to those of you who may be spending Christmas alone or without loved ones. It can be a tough time of year.
If you are alone, the TVF family will always be here to bemoan and bicker about anything worthy.
I’ll go now and straighten my Holly Reith and bid you all a Merry Christmas.
(I’ve just noticed someone on BBC News is wearing a black tie.........)
Thank you for another year of wonderful presentation conversation.
I hope that you can all get some time to relax over the next week or so, spend time with your families and enjoy the TV that you love whether it be old classics, new festive specials or a chance to steam through streamed content and binge til your hearts content. 📺
