I’ve seen the Hellman’s Mayonnaise advert today, something that I used to associate with the week up to Christmas and more so between Christmas & New Year. I then walked into Asda to find the shop fully decked out including tinsel around the shoot poles on the toll benches and a cashier wearing a Christmas jumper, all of this whilst the shops sell off Halloween stock and fireworks continue to be flying into the air, it all seems to be merging into one.
Well there's a major error committed by Barbour for a start. That little girl is clearly watching the 20th anniversary edition of The Snowman (which is a sin). Also judging from the rest of her actions throughout the advert she clearly hasn't paid any attention whatsoever to the film which means her standing around staring at her snowman all day was a complete waste of time.
