How do most Christmas advert campaigns work in the US, will they start to be pushed from the start of November? Is there much of a push for thanksgiving or is that mainly from supermarkets?

I'm not sure. I believe it's around this time when they release, although a lot are later than ours. The spot above is Australian by the way. But aren't Australia very different when it comes to Christmas though?

Well, for one thing, many Aussies celebrate Christmas on the beach. Wink

The main thing to take away from that advert is the massive size of the Quality Street tin.

At £6.89 a time it really was a Christmas treat you had to save up for though.

Wait until you see the price of this year’s Christmas Radio Times! Laughing

Can’t sleep but Very’s Christmas advert just came on, unless that was a hallucination...

Very interesting...

Sorry.

Argos' advert is also coming out today. Currys PC World launched yesterday, which I'm literally watching right now, and Channel 4 has a festive sponsor.

This morning has had festive sponsorship bumpers from new sponsor The Entertainer toyshop since Monday. Very festive they are too, which didn’t gel that well with their Halloween special.

Am I right in thinking Christmas adverts usually start appearing from 7pm on 1st November?
