Does anybody remember last year that on channel 850, there was a Christmas radio channel that played Continuous Christmas music. Will it be starting again this year and when...does anyone know?
(Great channel...very Christmassy!)

I think it was Music Choice - so keep an eye on channel 480

As I have said before in a previous thread, the Christmas channel usually starts testing towards the start of November on 12.198 H 27.5 2/3 and it usually makes an appearence on the EPG at the start of December.

This year though it will be slightly different because of the new interactive Music Choice, so as DAS said keep an eye out on channel 480 and keep checking 12.198H.

After three everybody....

Well Christmas is on the list, but is out of service, BTW will it be FTH (free to hear) or will it be for music choice subscribers only

Oh god not another christmas 'season' already?! The old fart in me notes that the seasons have been reduced to 'Christmas' and 'Cadbury's Cream Eggs', with a 'Fools and Horses' special scattered somewhere in between. Is that programme finished or what?

Isn't music choice an NTL thing? On NTL Analogue (when it was CableTel) we had the christmas channel in 1997.

It's been FTH (lol) for the past couple of years (was on 850 - 860 so should go onto 480) so my bet is that it'll be FTH again.

Something to open your presents to - although a Christmas CD could be put on just as easily...

My dad's so sad he actually recorded a three-hour tape of 850 last year, to play it back... he never used it tho, he put CD's on on the day Confused BTW there's a thing about music in Bluewater in the new issue of Q and apparently one time they played 'White Christmas' into the malls... at Easter! Razz: 4real!
