All I meant was that I could have saved you a phone call. Nothing else. If someone wants to talk about Christmas programmes and presentation that's obviously fine - but this thread was started on the basis of someone's imagination.

Marksi, I appreciate your kind words....I phoned the BBC to prove the person wrong and make him daft. I did realise you were not meaning to be rude as soon as I posted my last comment.

I guess I have been feeling a little over sensitive, but I have noticed that tvmercia has been rude about several people, and not in a light hearted way. This is not acceptable and being so rude does, inevitably cause offence. we are all people with feelings and emotions and we all deserve the same level of respect.

I enjoy a laugh, friendly banter, tongue-in-cheek sarcasm etc. but I don't enjoy being called a tit or being branded a moron by someone who claims I have the mind of a 9 year old when that person doesn't even know me.

Anyway.............thanks for your kind sympathy-it is greatly appreciated.

I would like to say though, that as this thread was begun by a pack of lies and rubbish comments, the hoax played by boring_user_name regarding the BBC1 dancers was hilarious. Very clever and believable....a hint of "war Of The Worlds" and "Ghostwatch!".

Have I not already said that?

Just because you say something doesn't mean that no-one else can speak!!!

This forum is no longer a friendly place.....it is full of bitchy blokes who think they're clever. It's supposed to be a discussion about TV presentation, not about throwing insults at each other. I have learned alot about people this past two weeks. On Monday I buried my wife after she lost a fight with a brain tumour, and not once did she complain about anything, she never blamed anyone, critiscised anything or was nasty about anything. This forum was supposed to take my mind off things, instead I turn the computer on and for no reason at all am subject to insults and "picky" comments by people who think they are clever.

Well, you are not clever....my wife was. That is all I am going to say about this topic, this forum is not the place to talk about such personal things and I apologise for doing so. I just wanted to get things back in perspective.

If I want to talk about "Christmas" "Easter" or Ulrika Jonssen's arse, I bloody well can.....without rudeness and insults from others. Fun, friendly mickey taking is one thing, but rudeness is totally unacceptable.

Well you certainly have my symapthy and best wishes, and I do appreciate that you went into detail about this phantom BBC brochure. There's nothing wrong with one person saying something and another person adding to it with more information.

deepest sympathy stevie.

Some people hate Christmas on this forum. I bloody love it and can't wait soon enough for the festive period. Cool (<< wouldn't need those sunglasses that time of year but....anyway..)

Yes, this thread may be utter rubbish but it reminds us of the fact that Christmas is only just round the corner.

Yes, my sincere sympathy as well Steve. I know it's a bit late for me to say that, but I've only just logged on and seen your post. I know that I would certainly be devastated if I lost my wife. Once again, my deepest sympathy.

Sorry to hear about your wife Stevie and my sympathies to yourself and your family.
I am still quite new here and have had a couple of whips by people. Its a shame the brochure isn't real as some of the programmes I would be setting my old VCR to record.
