As I was in London today, I thought I may pop into TV Centre and look up some old friends, and there on Reception was this big snazzy brochure entitled, "Guide to Christmas Schedules on the BBC".

Any, what crap have that decided to fund this year...

BBC One for example have, Kermit's Christmas Capers, Interactive Top Of The Pops, Blackpool, Gimme Gimme Gimme: After, He's Having A Baby: First Christmas, dinnerladies Revisited, The East Enders Christmas Party, Shannis: Our Story, Two Pints of Lager... and a Christmas Pudding - The Musical Part 2 and Out Take TV.

BBC Two has got specials of The Grren Green Grass and Little Britain, BBC Three is headlining with Swiss Tony and BBC Four are showing a special Trauma Uncut.

I mean, why can't the BBC do anything else?

Oh, if you want a copy of the brochure, you will have to call the BBC - I'm f****** if I'm photocopying 182 pages!

According to the guide...

This year's BBC schedule will be like nothing you have ever seen before. A few programmes will move channels for the Festive period to make way for exciting new comedy and drama on BBC One. But don't worry, the BBC Two 'foster parents' will look after your favourites, and they will be repeated on BBC One over the New Year period.

And Trauma is usually on BBC1 or BBC3, not BBC4. And hasn't Swiss Toni finished?

I'm not even 43 1/4 yet ....that's on October 1st.

And whether you like it or not, Christmas is around the corner now. In less than a month's time, Christmas adverts will air and department stores will be putting their decorations up. Last year, my closest department store, John Lewis Sheffield, put their decorations up on October 6th.

And by the way, it's Steviewizzywick.

My local Tesco's had Christmas cakes/puddings and selection boxes next to the back-to-school stationery and the unsold deckchairs when I visited it last Friday night.

I saw one of those hamper ads back in January on ITV. Wink

Not Christmas decorations or ads at all in East London yet but then there's that whole politcal correctness b*ll*cks that happens in the east London Boroughs
