Had they just reused the original ad for Toys R Us, I'd have expected that to have only been for last year, however as they actually went to the trouble of recreating the whole thing I'd be amazed if it doesn't reappear again this year; though probably mainly in the annoying old 'cut down before toy ad' form mind.

I'm actually surprised Coca Cola have never bothered reproducing a new version of the trucks in widescreen/HD. They already know from trying in the past that however much they may move on their branding and campaigns, that old one is so loved they're going to struggle to ever get rid of it. So if they do create a new version they're guaranteed a campaign they can show worldwide for years to come anyway! Laughing

The truck, or one exactly like it, is apparently parked up in Castle Street, Edinburgh at the moment.

Given the view from there, perhaps they're shooting a campaign - although it's a bit late for this year's Christmas.

I think it's just a promotional thing - on their website it's something along the lines of " see the truck in your area.

Brilliant will watch the recording of Neighbours later Wink

The ad is celebrating its 20th year as well isn't it?

I also love this ad for Hersheys Kisses from the States.

I don't mind Hershey's chocolate but I am not really a fan of chocolate from anywhere/one.

Yes we know, thankyou.

This one from Guinness is a favourite of mine. I don't know if it's still shown, nor if it's ever aired outside of Ireland, but I think it proves a worthy competitor over the Coca Cola trucks...

Spotted a 'one where they promote a random toy' version promoting the latest Barbie doll this morning.
