The other one: "Everyone's got the Scan & Go app. That's ASDA price!" also makes no sense.

Isn't that part of the schtick? The "home made" ads are supposed to be a bit crap?

There "a bit crap" and then there's "so badly made you can't make out what's being said or tell what's meant to be going on".
