The John Lewis advert is already attracting complaints that kids are upset because the dragon melted Olaf

The funny thing is that the snowman in the ad looks nothing like Olaf.

Bunch of fake fans.

Are people going to complain that the man in the Asda advert who had his head turned into a snowman's is going to have his head melt off in front of his family and friends?

CORRECTION: One person makes one not so serious comment on Twitter and press pick it up and report on it as if parents are rioting across the country.

Isn't that typical of media reporting in 2019?

Well if the kids are upset at the John Lewis advert, heaven help them when they see The Snowman on Channel 4 this Christmas, when that nasty morning sun melts him.

For goodness sake a child crying over the melted snowman is just crying because they are a child. Children cry over falling without as much as a mark. Children cry over all sorts of things they think are bad.

The parents that complain about it have no sense.

McDonald's ad premiered during I'm A Celeb tonight and much better than years previous.

As did Tesco's.

The Sainsbury's ad definitely works better in the shorter version, the full cut is a little bit drawn-out. There are some nice touches in it, though, like the "zero emissions" horse-drawn wagon.

There's also a very subtle throw back to Elton in this year's John Lewis advert... well, there's the line "candle in the wind(ow)" anyway Very Happy
