We had this discussion last year but how old is that advert now? Didn't it first air in 1992 or something?

Also, the Yellow Pages kissing under the mistletoe ad came out very late last year - I think it was Christmas Eve when I saw it.

But the holidays are still not coming. Mad

Well regarding the Coca Cola, I've added the old music to the new advert to come up with this:

Someone else did a 30-second version, so I managed to do a full 1 minute version. Hope you enjoy it!

Would people please be reminded that the annual end of year festival we're once again rapidly approaching towards is
called Christmas, not Xmas. Kindly stop making the festive season sound like an unpleasant itchy skin complaint!

Oh Please Rolling Eyes. America has gone the extreme politically correct step of saying "Happy Holidays" instead of Merry/Happy Christmas, has any Muslims or Buddhists in the UK complained about Christmas, NO.

With America, its slightly different, as this time of year is known as the Holiday Season, as it is not only Christmas, but also Thanksgiving, and New Year, so Happy Holidays involves more than just christmas.

Quite right.

How is it though that some ads become absolute classics that people love to see (Yellow Pages, Hellmans, Coca Cola et al) and others are regarded with the attitude that if I see it again mass murder will be commited. A ding ding ding ding.

I think we can all guess what's in store for the Christmas look on BBC One. Idents : Baubles. Everything else : The same as normal but with a little shimmer and sparkle added on.

I think we have a contender for Coca Cola's status as Fabbest seasonal advertisement for a non alcoholic beverage. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Irn Bru
