Anyone know in what format the tv guides will be this Christmas. Last year the double issues covered the last 2 weeks of December (i.e. fortnight ending 30th December) but the last time Christmas Day was on a Monday back in 2000 they did the double issue for the last week of December and first week of January (fortnight ending 5th January 2001)
Personally id prefer them to do a Christmas and New Year issue all in one.
Also can we guess what the Christmas Day schedules will be like this year or is it still too early? Prediction for ITV1's evening schdule;
6.00 Emmerdale
7.00 Who Wants to Be A Millionnaire (up against Doctor Who on BBC1)
8.00 Corrie
I think they will come out on Tuesday 19th Dec, Tues is normal date isint it, and take us up to 1st Jan, with the new Issue out on Wed 27th for 2nd Jan onwards.
As for the listings, my guesses are...
ITV 1
5.30pm - Emmerdale
6.30pm - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
7.30pm - Coronation Street
8.00pm - You've Been Framed
8.30pm - Coronation Street
9.15pm - FILM
Looking at that though, chances are a million to one
I very much doubt Corrie will have a2 seperate episodes on Christmas Day as its always a 1 hour special. Possible for them to change it this year, especially as its a Monday I suppose but I dont expect they will.
From early December they start bringing out the tv guides earlier, first on the Saturday so 3 days early, then the Thursday so 5 days early, then the following Tuesday or even sooner for the double issue which is 7 days earlier. Im just wondering which 2 weeks the double issue will cover?

I would expect it'll be Saturday 23rd December to Friday 5th January, although that's a bit odd as it'll feature all the most of the new season programmes as well as the Christmas programmes

Could be, but then again we could have a split edition like the one a few years ago.
Sat 16th - Fri 29th Dec, then a separate edition for Sat 30th - Fri 5th Jan
