Are we allowed to talk about Christmas related TV, yet?

Temperatures are in the mid 20s at the moment, and QVC launched their Christmas In July all day marathon at 10pm last night!

I wonder what we're going to have for Christmas idents this year?

Well I always thought we weren't allowed to talk about Christmas presentation until after your birthday, Joe (happy belated birthday for 1st July, btw!)

Incidentally, didn't BBC TWO have the Ice Cube ident out around this time last year (or the year before?) as it was so hot? Don't think I've seen it so far this summer, as I'm sure it wasn't really considered a "Winter" ident.

also does anyone know if ITV1 or channel 4 has a xmas theme ident?

With ITV's new idents I think it will be extremely simple to create a Christmas ident to go with that set! Just a bunch of people opening Christmas presents, eating Christmas dinner etc.

We can't really predict BBC ONE or TWOs Christmas idents, because we don't know what the new idents' theme is.

On seeing this thread title, my thoughts were, in tones of despair, "Jesus Christ...."
