I seen one that was about 30 seconds long, not as long as the original but longer than what most people are saying
But the music only lasts for about twelve seconds!! I'm hoping against hope that they'll show a longer version in December, but I doubt it. We're definitely getting Scary Santa back next month, unfortunately.
They've obviously done that on purpose to create more advertising furore - if you see what I mean. Not that a huge brand like Coca Cola should bother marketing in that way.
Anyway, I finally saw the trucks last night, twice on 'Dave'. If I'm being picky they should extend it and add the Tamee soundtrack for December. It won't happen but you know.
Yes, it is. It's not too bad really, but it could have been so much better. I'm going to 'thank' them by buying a case of Coca-Cola in the proper glass bottles for Christmas (bonkers, I know!)
I'm glad it's back. It's one of those ads that I don't mind seeing over and over again.
I do find it a bit strange that the ad itself in in 4:3 then the new "Coke side of life" ending is in 16:9. I realise it's quite an old ad now, but you'd have thought a crop would have been in order, or - knowing the money Coke has, film a new one?
Shame about the new ending too - it was much better when "holiday's are coming" was left to fade out.
The whole point of the kid pushing through the crowd at the ending was so that the santa on the truck could move whilst hes looking at him, they ruined that bit.
As much as i liked the classic ad, am i the only one who really liked last years ad? For all those who preferred the 'Holidays are Coming' soundtrack, they did eventually put that on it didn't they?
By the way didn't the classic ad have one of Cokes old strap lines on it? Probably why they're so reluctant to play it. 'Always Coca-Cola' wasn't it?

What was last years ad? I only remember that rubbish cartoon of those kids and santa by a fireplace - you know the one that looked like a painting on a cheap recycled paper christmas card from the pound shop?
