Perhaps Comet Electricals would like to explain how we are supposed to hide a fridge-freezer for one and a half months before wrapping it up and presenting it to our children. And DFS explaining how we're supposed to buy a new sofa every week.
(BTW, has anyone noticed that Apple seem to be pushing the iPhone quite hard, considering that it doesn't launch for another seven days? It's not carrying Christmas branding, but I think the Christmas Mac vs. PC ads might get dusted off before too long.)
*That does not quite qualify as a blatant plug.

Just seen this years Sainsbury's Christmas advert. It takes the current advert style of the thinking clouds, and takes Jamie into a world of Christmas, through a Christmas workshop and then out into the snow.
The try something new tip...
Cranberries make the perfect sauce for turkey, but why not try adding them to ice cream and topping off with nuts?

Why not indeed. I'm always wondering what to do with my cranberries and nuts at Christmas - we've all been there haven't we. And we'd be stuffed without Jamie Oliver to tell us what to do
I'm looking forward to the M&S advert.

Well the M&S ad has aired to the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Not as good as last year's Get The Party Started but at least its got a Christmassy tune this year.
