Yep- it looks like no more than the usual amount of effort from ITV1.

I suppose, given the main opposition, that the BBC Christmas schedules will be only slightly less disappointing.

It's amazing how 'the big two' still manage to spin against the fact that they constantly fail to provide a wide range of programmes that large numbers of people want to watch.

Well at least we dont have to wait 2 weeks to find out. Longer down here as the TV guides dont go on sale until the Tuesday Rolling Eyes

Its quite a predictable shedule anyway, at least there dont appear to be any extra episodes of the soaps on though, its good in a way that Christmas falls on a Monday!

F**k Heatbeat, YBF, Millionaire all the same old c**p. Unbeliveable, shame the X Factor is finishing before Christmas.

Heartbeat will have nearly enough the same xmas storyline as the past 10 years, same old clips from YBF, and stupid Millionaire.

The rest is as bad. Id rather watch Jeremy Kyle.

Couldn't agree more, but its not just Christmas, they can't even produce a good overnight service. Just news and play, from the 2 biggest TV channels.

Will there be a Avid Merrion/Dead Ringers special this year?

Also, the early TBA Christmas TV listings (a 10 day guide) will be available in Thursday's edition of The Mirror according to an article I read in today's paper. There will probably be another TV guide in The Daily Star as well.

Well here we go then... the schedules are leaking. What the hell is Gareth Gates: When Will I Be Famous Again all about? ITV are so random at 'special events' I'm surprised they don't get Sir Trevor to dress up as Father Christmas and dance round the Tonight studio! Anything for viewers - pathetic...

I always like to see those reunion documentaries like After They Were Famous. I think last year it was the cast of Oliver! - only trouble was ITV repeated it enough times between Christmas Day and New Year, you just wanted to play.....Cranium... again... Rolling Eyes

Nobody can wait for anything anymore can they

Plus I'm sure leaking an entire schedule like this is a sacking offence

Well, I fopr one am looking forward to the Radio Times Xmas special. To whet our appetites, the BBC have announced a pretty good line up of programmes and movies. Films I found interesting that are on are:
Bruce Almighty,
Cold Mountain,
Seabiscuit,
Mrs Henderson Presents,
The Santa Clause 2,
Pirates of the Carribbean,
Holes,
High School Musical,
Monsters Inc,
Sinbad and Calendar Girls. All on BBC1 as well. Far more impressive than last year! ITV needs to go and hide in a corner and wait for annihilation.

great to see there's an MR James adaptation on this year too. BBC4's MR James season last Christmas was excellent, unfortunately I didn't see most of it and recorded it onto a damn digiFusion PVR, which packed up just after before I watched them.
