Just seen an itv1 christmas trail for christmas cooks. it had sparkles coming from the '1'. bit of a copy of bbc1 actually as the sparkles form a circle around the '1'

The itv 2 version is even worse, it is more or less a copy of the bbc one logo from last year with the whole box sparkleing.

On Christmas Eve, the ITV Network will have Phillip Schofield's
Night Before Christmas, and stv are broadcasting Scotsport. Just thought I'd point that out.

Does only the logo animate with sparkles then?

sparkles come from the '1' in the itv1 logo and then form a circle around the logo. it then repeats until the end of the trail. the end trail board dosent have anything christmassy about it except for the sparkly itv1 logo.

Well it sounds marginally better than the barbed wire wrapped around the logo in 2004 Shocked

I notice Sky have put their Christmas music on the EPG soundtrack. Same as always.

Almost all of the Christmas double issues of the tv guides were on sale from this morning in South Wales - the only one that wasnt was TV Choice. They have those special box things for the Christmas ones in some shops so they can carry on selling the 16th-22nd issue on the shelves.

Got my Christmas TV Times and Whats on TV - I personally I find the Radio Times overrated. The only thing I find interesting in that is seeing the list of news presenters for bulletins on the ITV News.

They were available here in North Wales yesterday - gone with TV Easy, handy, value for money and I love the way they take the piss out of programmes in their reviews (like TV Quick used to do!) - such as describing Extinct as eight speices from arond the world campaigning to save disappearing celebrities from vanishing for ever!

Probably pick up a TV Times too - I agree RT is over rated, only ever really get that if it's got a feature of interest.
