Chris Rogers, ummm..?? How long has he been at Sky News for, and has he always been a presenter there or has he done reporting for them as well? Did he go there straight after Newsround? You know I found out the other day that he was just... wait for it.... 19 when he started doing Newsround!! 19 for Gods sake, most people of 19 are stacking shelves in Sainsburys!!

I think he worked in radio (Hallam ?) before he moved to telly. He used to shared a flat with the lead singer of D:Ream ('things can only get better' fame)
He certainly was the best looking news reader on the telly IMHO. Always a joy to share a lift (elevator) with him - lol. Very Happy

My wife tells me that he was pulled pretty sharpish in favour of Jeremy Thompson when the WTC was attacked.

She said he seemed a little out of his depth.

I am not saying that all pretty newsreaders are Bimbos or Himbos, but there are times when you need the prescence and gravitas of a Jeremy Thompson or Bob Friend.

Hopefully Sky News realises this and does not go all 'yoof' on us!

Jeremy Thompson was put on VERY quickly as soon as the news broke, replacing Rogers. He does have a tendancy to sit smiling & not saying much during Your Call

I hope you checked for security cameras before attempting any flirtatious manouvers on the poor lad. I'd tell a joke about a lift but I think it's probably too rude.

You know, if any Sky employees read this board - no doubt they do - then Chris will now be the joke of the newsroom.

Guide to succeeding in the media:

Step 1) Never go into a lift with a gay presentation director

Step 2) Only work for the BBC to 'further your career'

Step 3) Someone else can complete the rest...
