Chris Evans - television needs you!

It bought back memories when he did Radio Aid, he is doing a fantastic job with The Brits and I'm sure he'll be great on Comic Relief.

Chris Evans - TV needs you back in front of the camera!

It's obvious music is his passion, so rather than a TFI 2 it be great to see Chris doing some sort of live music programme which isn't filled by the likes of McFly.

We've only a handful of decent presenters on the box nowadays - Chris Evans needs to get back on air regularly!

Well, he hasn't had much success on the other side of the camera, I think that's why he's starting to come back presenting. I didn't think Terry & Gaby was too bad, but Boys & Girls was awful! He does have some attitude problems, especially when things don't go his way, but he can be a very entertaining man. He needs a new show like TFI.

BBC have Johnathon Ross, ITV have Parky, I think Chris should be the chat show host king of Channel 4. Afterall that is where his most famous shows were, i.e. The Big Breakfast and TFI. I'd definitely watch a show that he hosted on Four.

And since it's on Channel 4, to differentiate his show from others, it can be a lot more radical. Ok so Johnathon Ross asks weird questions, but Chris can ask SEARCHING questions.

EDIT - Ok so i've just described TFI....

Same here, I thought Terry and Gaby was brilliant once it was sorted, ie when they had Danny Baker as a regular presenter, it was done well and everyone looked like they were having fun, it also provided a good alternative from This Morning. But for some reason it never took off, ratings only ever got as high as 150,000 , so in a way you don't blame Five for dropping the axe.

Boys and Girls was just awful, not Saturday night TV, not Channel 4 either, it was bad, everyone was expecting it to be Don't Forget Your Toothbrush Mark II. But this was nothing more than a really sh*t Blind Date. As for Live with Chris Moyles, I liked that, my only problem was 5 nights a week was pushing, twice a week at most really. The show got to overkill and then he was replaced by Christian O'Connell.

Chris Evans is a fantastic presenter, can't say for his radio work as I've honestly never listened to him on the Radio (not a good thing to say for a fellow Warringtonian) but he was good. The thing that makes him good at the moment is that he is a breath of fresh air, because he has been off for so long really. I think we should have him back more often, but not how much we used to. Stuff like Radio Aid, Brits 25, Comic Relief etc will do fine, and maybe more one-off presenting jobs.

Although more than capable of a nightly chat show, I think C4's schedule is better off now without V Graham Norton pushing back the 10pm programmes.

Agree that Terry and Gaby was a good show - a daytime show that didn't follow the norm.

Live with Chris Moyles / Christian O'Connell were not much cop, but although it didn't work, I did like alot of the aspects of Boys and Girls - though with a 12 week run and £100,000 weekly prize, it would have had to do really well for C4 to recommission it.

I'd have preferred Chris fronting it to Vernon and I don't think Saturday night was the right slot. What C4 should have done really is pulled the series mid-run instead of moving it to 10.30pm and given them time to iron out the problems before returning with another six-part series.

Even now - without Graham - all CH4's best programmers are pushed back till after 10. All the s**te they make themselves - like big brother, how clean is you're house and wife swap - are filling the decent slot's.

As for Chris Evans he belongs on the has been channel aka Five. I really don't get the sudden surge of interest in him. Watching last night 's Brit's i could not for the life of me see anything special in him. He's so 90's. And the papers - after years of labeling him an " annoying ginger t*at" are suddenly claiming he's a tv "genius" why??? Boy's & Girl's T&G and Live with... were all exact clones of his 3 big tv hit's, which are all incredibly dated anyway. .Hardly genius is it? He's clearly got no idea what viewers want.
