You'll find a few kiddies shows from the 80s on either Boomerang (Sky Digital EPG 603) or Nick Jr. (EPG 606).

My personal favourites are (in no particular order):

- Thomas The Tank Engine (Nick Jr.)
- Wacky Races (Boomerang)
- Penelope Pitstop (Boomerang)
- Dangermouse (Boomerang)
- Button Moon
- Postman Pat (BBC Choice sometimes)
- Fireman Sam (also on Choice)
- Jimbo & The Jet Set (Nick Jr.)

...to name but a few !!!

Cheers --> Joff

Blue Peter, Going Live, Beat the Teacher, Double Dare (gungy game show which was part of Going Live) and does anyone remember something called Kick Start? It had kids riding motorbikes over an assault course. I think Peter Purves commentated.
Ah - Kick Start (and also Junior Kick Start) was roughly the same era as Paddles Up.

Kick Start was sort of trail-biking, and Paddles Up was Canoeing / Kayaking.
There was 2 Kikstart (that is the correct spelling!) computer games on the Commodore 64, so I can confirm it was to do with motorbikes on an assault course. I didn't know it had ever been on TV! The company who made the games no longer exists.

What was better, Double Dare or Fun House with Pat 'scary hair' Sharpe?

Fun House because I don't remember Double Dare!

I remember Peter Simon from Run The Risk though, and it's ever changing presenters.....

Does anyone have any pictures of the OLD Get your own back set?

Thanks for that. I did say AFAIK! I didn't know it was ever on BBC1, as it's before my time.

I'd have loved to have been allowed to do a run in the Fun House at the end, but I think I'd have enjoyed the Double Dare Obstacle Course best, as you actually got gunged on that!
