Incredible Games! Blimey, another long forgotten show I used to watch, it's funny how the memories come flooding back.

That episode was from 1994, was Phillipa in Studio A there? There's some continuity of the Broom Cupboard from June so was it 1995 when it was decommissioned? I seem to have a memory of them going onto the "island" (AKA the roof of TVC) for a couple of years during the summer and then went into Studio A?

It's Studio A I think - that was always used on Sunday mornings and for the birthday slot with the broom cupboard being used on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, before Studio A got redecorated and brought into use permanently from September 1994.

That clip really is from the tail-end of the broom cupboard era - I remember that hand crashing through the wall was the winner of a "design the broom cupboard" competition and ended up only being used for a month or two before they broom cupboard setup was scrapped (indeed I didn't think Phillippa was still there at that point, thought she had gone earlier in 1994). The "island" set on the roof was used over the whole of the summer (going into a beach hut if the weather was bad) so I think the broom cupboard disappeared at the start of the summer holidays in July 1994.

Indeed looking at some of the other clips from that user they carried on using the island on the roof in 1995, not sure if they used it in 96 and by 97 they were in Studio 9 by the BP garden which was perfect for that purpose.
