He is indeed still doing the late night love show on Century Digital/105.4 - I'm listening to him now.

And I believe Pat Sharp is also on the station too!

Yup, last I checked he was doing the Evening slot, he even has jingles that take the mick out of him and his mullet (when he had one anyway)

Floella covered one programme of TAKE TWO at short notice due to Phillip's appendix shenanigans.

Debbie was covering the Broom Cupboard.

Floella MAY have been in as a guest, but I'd need to spin more tapes to ascertain.

Excellent site, bran gback memories, particularly of ullisys and the one after it.

Reading about the cockups Philip used to make, one mentioned that he was forbidden to show the BBC1 logo. why would that have been?

i always wondered about the normal continuity announcers for the rest of the day, having to sit in there with all the pics on the walls and stuff.

being able to watch the monitor behind him with a countdown really gave us an insight into tv.

superb.

When Phillip talked about that incident on TV's Worst Nightmares (may have got that title wrong) he said that the Head of Presentation at the time had decreed that the BBC One Globe shouldn't be used in Children's sequences because "That's adult Television" ! Whether that's true or just Phillip adding to the story I don't know!

Yes it was very messy! And very hot too, if the aircon wasn't working too well and the lighting rig for the in-vision links had been left running all afternoon!

There's a clip on MHP Private Parts featuring in vision Broom Cupboard on a March Saturday evening from 1993. Why you might ask. Well, Noel's House Party was due to air but was abandoned due to a bomb scare (or sommat similar) so they wheeled out an repeat of Noel's Christmas presents followed by Noel Edmonds in vision from the broom cupboard telling the viewers of difficulties in bringing the House Party and then he announced that there was time for Tom and Jerry to make up the spare five minutes left.
