HD showing same output as BBC 1 London - who appear to be in the foyer / doughnut of TV Centre tonight.

In HD then, I guess?

Not sure - just wound it back and it looked slightly upscaled/blurry to me in parts.

I'd have imagined if they were doing it at TVC they might have borrowed the gallery and cameras of one of the other HD capable studios, TC4 or TC8

SW opt is based in Weymouth with all the key Spotlight presenters.

Weymouth indeed! How Ironic that whilst I'm watching it on BBC One DTT from Rowridge (BBC One South), in Dorchester I was unable to see the BBC South West action just 10 miles down the road (Weymouth), but had to make do with what was coming 40 - 50 miles away at Beaulieu National Motor Museum. If only I were watching on the lounge TV through Sky+, I could have seen the Weymouth stuff on BBC One South West thru Sky (or alternatively the BBC West stuff if I preferred).

Wow! We've had two more good pop acts in the last half hour.

1) John Barrowman "Old Time Rock 'n' Roll" - excellent song that, I really liked that.
2) Cast of Hollyoak - tribute to Queen. Another great performance which I really enjoyed.

Basically, we've had first class entertainment so far this evening, keep it up Terry, Puds and co. A thousand times better than the barely watchable tommyrot we had to endure 7pm to 1am the night of RND 09.

So, BBC Scotland have got Jackie Bird, Des Clarke and this year Nicky Campbell - to replace Hardeep Singh Kohli. Nice to see Nicky back on screen though I'm expecting some sort of interrogation any second. Just his style, I suppose.

There Staying UNTIL 23.30pm! so london comes back around midnight for us!

Um, no. They're back at TVC now.

BTW, has anyone seen any old style Pudseys around this year? Either on TV or in public?

Seen three Pudseys out in London today - all the new style - I think the old style Pudsey has been consigned to history now.

Probably a good thing, no confusion then when it comes to the branding. Plus I personally think the more modern design [colour scheme, font, etc] and Pudsey look works a lot better. It's more like a seperate brand now... the previous look was like a BBC spinoff rather than a standalone product.
