It's been a good couple of years since I've last seen any of CiN (I'm normally working on a Friday night) - but does TC1 always look this small? My memories of last time I saw CiN was that TC1 seemed huge, but watching just now on BBC HD made the studio seem cramped, tiny and full of clutter...

That was the first thing that I noticed when I put the show on. Odd that.

Is that the kid that plays Ben Mitchell in Eastenders, behind Terry in the check shirt at the start of the show?

That is of course less than last years total of £21 million, The first time that they've not topped the previous years total in recent years.

If Peter's single had gone on sale straight after it was shown, it would've easily beat last years target... but cause of leaving it until midnight, a lot of people will wait until tomorrow [or is that today now?] to get it.

I thought you meant Peter Andre for a minute.

I think I need to go to bed.

That was a good video. It was good that they got the original/current voices. I heard the only person they couldn't track down was the original voice of Stoppit and Tidyup. Shame.

I thought the only narrator of Stoppit was Terry Wogan?

Terry Wogan was the narrator, the voices of everybody else, so far as I can see from a very quick and rough-and-ready Google, seems to be traced back to a chap called Terry Brain, an animator on the series who also worked on the Chicken Run film.

Yes it's the kid (Charlie Jones) who plays Ben Mitchell in EastEnders, he doesn't wear glasses in real life, nor is he deaf. Also, the kid standing on Charlie's left (our right as we see it) is James Forde, aka Liam Butcher in EastEnders.

I think CIN missed a trick. On RND they had a text thing where you text and £5 goes to RND. I think more people would have text and more money raised at the end of the night if CIN did the same. I know they did it for concert but not everyone watched it as the viewing figures prove. But well done CIN.

They were using the "Text Donate to 70077 to give us a fiver" technique for the Albert Hall gig shown on Thursday night, and a variation on the theme on the One Show.

As to the old style Pudseys, the one doing the guitar solo in Peter Kay's video certainly looks more old style shape than new
