This year is the worst year i have ever experienced for CIN!

You old misery guts.

Btw, Television entertainment will always rely upon music, so I don't know quite what you were expecting. A series of single act Russian plays, maybe?

Was that after 10.30?

Yes... more like about 1.30am..... I think they did there own thing because BBC One used to shut down in the old days, so BBC SW decided to keep going till they got bored or too drunk.

I agree, the music has been pretty good for a CIN show. Something for all the ages tonight. And the big regional concerts look quite polished.

Also it appears that the BBC have really splashed out on locations this year with huge areana around the country including Weymouth and Merthyr Tydfil (the ones ive spotted upto now)

These huge arenas dont employ people free on nights like these and may offer their services at a reduced rate but still need paying. I cant see how CIN makes a profit? Unless they take a share of the recording profits of all the artists that they are plugging?

Hence why the venues have sponsors - Asda and Coke in Weymouth ... they pay for the costs of the venues along with the local councils. No CIN money goes to any of the costs associated with any of the BBC output.

Isn't is quite unusual for Granada to let Coronation Street feature (albeit in a different guise) in a BBC event? Nice to see it, though.

nice to see Donny Osmand & The Kumars! (always makes me laugh)

so, they are cutting Simon Cowell in half... now will it be at the waist, or where his trousers come up to?!

A funny bit there, in the middle of the performance Leeds roughly soft opted yet again with a flash of green, but just at that moment Network decided to run a ticker, so they had to wait for it to end, but the minute that it did Leeds's own big one rushed on quickly!

The text certainly scrolls very quickly and is a case of many short tickers as opposed to a few longer ones, probably as they are scared that they will run it just as something important appears on the network feed!. They are definally ticker happy in this part of the country!

Never mind - I'm sure someone else got it - or maybe someone over at MHP Private Parts!
