Yeah the sofa area worked well i think. One year they had a girl who won a prize to be a presenter for the night and she was only there for about 2 hours.

I also remeber in the North West they had "Pudsey's House" on for a few years.

Oh yes, I remember Heather Stott (what's happened to her BTW?!) in the Pudsey house!! It was good when they gave a few minutes every now and then to the regions - much better than these 'reports' we get nowadays, and the rest from London.

I belive she is now living Down Under for a few years.

Oh right. I wonder if she's doing weather presenting there?

Now, do I watch East Midlands or Yorks and Lincs? Is there anything special coming from Hull or will it all be from Leeds? If it's from Leeds I'd be better watching it on East Midlands. I know both East Midlands Today and Look North (Hull) have been covering the stuff in Lincoln... Confused

I see BBC South West are promoting the concert in Weymouth as if it were their own. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was a BBC South production.

What do people actually watch in Weymouth? Is it Spotlight or South Today?

They've just shown the first pre-recorded "give us yer money" segment, with David Beckham holding up a
bunch of various credit cards a few minutes ago. All I have to say to that is, "Beckham . . . give the cause
a million quid of your own money. You wouldn't miss a single penny of it, you over-rated, over-paid pillock!

Here endeth my little rant . . .

I'm flipping through the nations and each one is different! England are showing Celeb Dog School, Scotland are showing a film, NI are showing Girls Aloud, Wales are showing Louise. I can see how viewers in the nations can get annoyed when all they want to see is Network.

BBC Wales' opt outs are terrible. I don't know why they feel they have to do it. Maybe it makes them feel powerful.

So, I'm tuned into West tonight aswell.
