Just downloaded the newsreaders video (I went to bed on Friday, long day) and I have to say it.

Wasn't BIG MOIRA fab! (Although considerably shorter than I thought she was).

Have to say i Thought this year's CIN was a lot better than last year's. I do remember posting here last year that CIN was not very entertaining compared to previous years, this year's was much more like previous editions. Nice set too with those spinny flats, though the graphics seem to have been toned down a tad (plain yellow on red as compared to previous fireworks and building-block totals). Also liked the increased presence of regions - even if it was only a few short updates in the earlier part of the show. (I watched the London opts with Henry Bonsu) Interesting to see (thanks to Sky) that when I flicked thru the regions in the later part of the show, Wales and NI were practically broadcasting seperate simultaneous shows... Also having the 'why we're doing this' films on less actually gave more impact (if they'd played them over and over they would have lost this). Very good work. And I did make a contribution, but not on the night - my family shop at Asda and stocked up on Pudsey merch.
