Slightly off topic but excellent announcement into the Late film:

BBC One posted:
Our late film contains Big Titters and Ooer Missus from the outset.

He was making good references tonight with announcements, he also refered to the ident (which was salsa) saying 'Nice Dancing' at the top of the link.

For people who missed the entire thing (like me) could someone please explain exactly what the newsreaders did? Thanks.

I did capture the newsreaders, but the file is 17MB. If enough people are willing to download it, then I'll be happy to upload it.

Actually, I've just had enough time to upload it (it did it surprisingly fast!), so if anyone wants to download it, then here it is:

Look North crossed straight over to Stockton after the news, are other egions doing this or have they gone to a break?

EDIT: They've now gone to the Weather, and they''ve said they'll see us next year so I presume that was the last opt.

BBC London went into what looks like a national weather forecast after the regional news - the newsreader introduced "Now a national weather forecast with Darren Bett" or something like that. Some regions went into the weather - some didn't.

Please Very Happy

Also what was everyone on about saying there were NO English Regional Opts in the main programme anymore!! Hello! There was one each hour till 10 and most regions had an insert on their late bulletin!

Well I loved most of the regions- Clare Frisby was excellent and it was Lucy in Weymouth - I don't think Sally was there!! Was was she?? Also Stewart White and Jules at the Forum. One of the bonus' of moving to the Forum I would say.

See my post above - I've been able to upload it. The file is about 17MB, so probably only broadband users will be able to download it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For anybody who does not like Real video, I captured it myself last night in MPEG. The file is about 93Mb, so if anyone seriously wants it then get in contact. Smile

Can someone give the regions another font other than the very tired looking Arial Rounded for next year? In fact I'd go as far as to think about pensioning off Pudsey and get another logo...

Anyway, this year was the least i've watched on CIN night. I'm finding the constant stream of celebs singing and dancing for 6 hours very boring and shows a bad lack ideas from the production team.

And why was Terry and Gabys first link done via the audience warm-up mics and TC1's foldback speakers?

BBC North East and Cumbria didn't use it this year.
