Is this year the first in a few they haven't done anything on the Thursday night too?
That's probably a good thing, because they did it once, then did it again, then became locked in to having to do a Thursday show every year and they became less important.
I've got to confirm my prejudices and that is this year's CiN is quite rubbish.
I like Terry Wogan but he feels uncomfortable tonight, the fakeness is off the radar from the presenters and the graphics aren't all that impressive.
The line-up is no where near as good as it used to be and has slowly declined over the past few years but tonight's is poor. The most anticipated thing for me is the "Ghosts of Walford" special Eastenders edition but after that I may well turn off.
I suppose at the end of the day, if the money is raised the show is worth doing. However, if they are wanting people to enjoy the show along with giving money they need to up their game - especially next year with the anniversary.
