A medley of Grease songs is now currently underway. I hope they include Summer Nights in the mix, that's one of my favourite Grease songs.

Time now for the Strictly Come Dancing Children In Need Special. Interestingly Brucie is back, with his familiar "Nice to see you" catchphrase. The dancers in this special should be a laugh. I notice it's two teams of four: Team Glitter and Team Sparkle.

Why did the North West content come from Blackpool with all the money invested at Media City UK?

I love watching CIN but detest the BBC.

Because Strictly is in Blackpool this weekend, so making use of BBC resources ? And doing something from somewhere other than Salford for a change. So why not ?

I presume that they chose Blackpool as the facilities will be set up for tomorrow's strictly.

Maybe because there are live programmes are broadcast from Salford the rest of the year and doing it from a studio is not as interesting as from an OB?

No ones allowed to say the word glitter nowadays are they? Might as well gone all Blue Peter on them and called them Team Shiny Sparkly bits.

Now for the part where children's choirs around the UK sing a song together. That's always one of the best bits, this year the song is "I'll Stand By You". It's amazing how they get them all to sing together in perfect sync around the country.

In sync, but not necessarily in tune... painful
Brekkie, VMPhil and fanoftv gave kudos
