Scotland are showing The Feeling at the moment.

Glad to see BBC Scotland using their own CIN graphics during the opts, effects and all.

Remember last years Robin Hood CiN thing, well they're doing it again, this time its merlin though.

The first sketch had a picture of the old Pudsey, while the second one shortly after just had a toy version of the new Pudsey - so it seems they either still don't give a care about choosing one version and sticking with it across everything, or someone made an inadvertent design error.

I haven't got used to the new version - he still feels like an imposter to me - so I do still enjoy spotting moments where 'Classic Pudsey' manages get a look-in! Laughing

Also, perhaps a slightly odd thing to mention but it did annoy me: there was a VT earlier with the British medallists from the Olympics, each appearing with their name displayed at the bottom of the screen - but the text had a drop shadow effect which had been ridiculously spaced - moved down so far below the original name that there was a huge gap between the text and the supposed shadow. Not the most pertinent comment perhaps, but it just seemed a bit of a daft effect.

Off to the English regions now, and Yorkshire viewers have got Ian White in a stripy shirt and half of Les Alanos at Murderhall in Sheffield.

EDIT: Total so far in Yorkshire, £61,115

All the Strictly related references in the first 15 minutes or so were really tiring. It's supposed to be a telethon, not a plug for Saturday night.

And Tess Daly is somehow managing to be more annoying than Fearne Cotton and Natasha Kaplinsky combined. Bring back Gaby!
