This years CIN from Northern Ireland is coming from the Kings Hall instead of Blackstaff House. A move I don't think they've done since the Odyssey Arena a good few years ago.

Just noticed that the bbc weather starting slide now has new Pudsey on a line, waving, instead of the glass ball.

I think that was used last year as well.

John Daly, Stephen Nolan and Zoe Salmon presenting from NI.

Nothing 'Different' with the start.

Reminds me of the start chat show, really...

John Craven is in the audience behind Terry slightly tweaked set. I like the screen that lifts up.

Yay, the appalling CGI Pudsey animations from last year are back. Displayed on screens on a generic set.

I'm rather disappointed they haven't killed off the spaceship/boudoir/humbug stage.

And Mcfly.

You can tell when a show comes from TC1 they seem to use the same background lights. The sets just look to similar, the Last Choir Standing set looks like the set they use for those pick a star for a musical shows which looks similar to the I'd Do Anything set which looks similar to the National Lottery Awards set which looks similar to the Children In Need set. Compare it to Studio 1 at The London Television Studios , the sets look totally different for each show.

Also they should bring back a sofa area for Terry to present the show from, and they should change the set next year.

This might be the worst thing on tv tonight...

And judging by my EPG, the top gear - ashes to ashes crossover seems to be on the segment after the 10 o'clock news.
