This year's slogan is "Do Something Different" so presumably the TV show will follow this and not just be a repeat of the last few years....

Though, you just know that every cliche mentioned in this thread will ring true.

And interestingly, a friend was wearing a Pudsey tshirt today... but the old logo one, not the new multi-colour-spot simplified rounded one. Much better, and cuter design.

Which looked like a man in a suit. Rolling Eyes

I hate the new Pudsey!! Are they still selling old and new style Pudseys in the shop this year?

Hopefully Newsround will have a behind the scenes report and show the studio.

They were discussing the new and old Pudsey on Chris Moyles' radio show.

Chris saying they should start a campaign to bring back old Pudsey as he was much better. Smile

At my train station this morning they had some guys there collecting money with their buckets and they had a sign up with ... the old Pudsey logo on it!

Tonight's CiN might be okay - the Top Gear & Ashes To Ashes crossover looks like it might be good.

Don't know why everyone hates the new pudsey, I prefer him more than the old pudsey.

No doubt there will be the usual charade of Terry forcing all the guests to read out the phone number which results in most of them seemingly being unable to read a board 10 feet away

Remember last year, was it a Never Mind the Buzzcocks section which was the worst car crash TV all year

BBC News had a live shot of TVC earlier looking very good with the usual lights and projections.

Presume this is all from TC1 this year as usual?

Do the other studios or parts of TVC get used for CIN or is it just business as usual for them?

Yeah you cut the atmosphere with a knife and it wasn't hosted by Simon Amstell either if I remember.

During the 6 titles up here in Look Leeds land, we got a tease of a report featuring a person in a Pudsey suit skating on the ice rink at York Castle Museum - with a "New Pudsey" head and an "Old Pudsey" body. It looked horrible.

Does anybody remember one year they were in the main studio and they had a boat which went to another studio? I think it was Terry Wogan and Sue Cook hosting that year. That was the only time I remember them using two studios. The second studio might have been TC1 and that was where they had celebrities on phones.

Was it the usual Children In Need set that they had last year?

Such a shame they put absolutely no effort into the TV show any more - it's the same old rubbish of plug after plug after plug every single year.

Yes, I remember the BBC had many elaborate sets, with all sorts of balconys and creative designs. The boat was very creative!

For the past few years, it's just been the usual big stage area and seating area, and that's it.
