Post here for all discussion on tonight's seven hour extravaganza!
First of all, Terry Wogan's going to be on Paul O'Grady tonight, presumably he will talk a bit about Children In Need...
It did get me thinking when I heard this announced last night as to how he was going to get from the POG studio to CIN so quickly - then I remembered they're both filmed at TV Centre!

No Paul O'Grady has been back at the London Studios for some time now.
If they want to do something different this year they should try and be entertaining. Hard to believe I know but this annual event used to be watchable in the late 80's/early 90's.
I tuned into Breakfast this morning and they didn't do anytyhing from the Children In Need studio, so I hope I'll get to see something on the main news bulletins. Hopefully it'll have a new set this year as well.
They should start the show like they used to with a big brassy Dave Arnold fanfare, a shot of glitsy lights on TV Centre and Terry and the Cotton being revealed behind pyrotechnics.
These last few years it's just been Alan Dedicoat going "It's 7pm and welcome to BBC Children in Need.." cue McFly on stage etc.
Not to mention, Sir Terry "What's happening now..ah..? Now? Oh?" Wogan. And we always come to the conclusion every year that he should no longer host it.
I hope those ker-azy newsreaders are doing something. They're so wacky.
Mamma Mia... Sophie Raworth, Susanna Reid [in place of injured-back Kate Silverton] and Fiona Bruce partnered with Chris Hollins, Ben Brown and Nick Owen.
Terry is able to be on Paul's show because all of Paul's Friday shows are recorded at 12.30pm on wednesday.
BBC Northern Ireland opts out a lot from the network schedule.
Why can't Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland do the same as England and have 5-8 minute updates on the hour and not miss out on the network broadcast.
Thank God for Sky you can watch the London or english regions.
This year's slogan is "Do Something Different" so presumably the TV show will follow this and not just be a repeat of the last few years....
Though, you just know that every cliche mentioned in this thread will ring true.
And interestingly, a friend was wearing a Pudsey tshirt today... but the old logo one, not the new multi-colour-spot simplified rounded one. Much better, and cuter design.
