yes but ITV were good at it, BBC Scotland are cack handed at doing the opting in etc

Didn't think Scotland opted out - instead I think they run their own show and take chunks of network timeshifted (effectively recording and turning round performances)

Huge difference in mechanics - and much more difficult to do cleanly. Network ensure the opt-in and opt-out points are clean (for the English regions) - but won't care about the junctions between items, which the nations will be trying to hack around to isolate individual items.

I can't see why they can't let terry intro things instead of opting in half way through.

Have you ever seen the mess Scotland create on air?

Nice little addition to the weather there. The usual 'window' was replaced by a happy Pudsey...

I am sure in the late 1980s or early 1990s, they raised around £21 Million on the night.

There was also more regional content, the north-west is lousy again as usual.

Although £1Million has been raised so far, here in the north-west.

I hate the regional content espically from bbc ni, its the same thing every year, though in saying that so is the whole show!

"If you watch a film like that and don't cry, you really haven't got a heart." announces Natasha, who clearly hasn't been crying.

And isn't about to start. Laughing

Looks like the first time CIN isn't being shown on BBC Prime either. Thanks to their new "strategy" programmes are now constantly repeated, the Learning strand has been dumped and according to their FAQ "we no longer have the rights [to] show this or other live events"

Not forgetting the fact the channel is about to be renamed (and has already in some markets) to BBC Entertainment - the curent name being rubbish basically.

I guess that'll also affect Eurovision from next year too.

Does anyone get the impression Fearne and Natasha don't quite get on?

Also, how many times has Natasha said "fantastic atmosphere in the studio"?

And has Rory Bremner always been that crap?
