I don't get this whole Downtown theme, but all in all, what I've seen has been fairly entertaining as you would expect from CiN. The Hull opt-outs are a bit dull though.

Downtown is the worst song choice for Children In Need I've heard in a long time. Don't get me wrong I like the song but its hardly "original" is it. Bring back S Club 7...

But the words "charity" and "original song" don't normally go together. The cover songs far outweight any original songs made over time.

Yes - I think they were hoping to go to Celebrity Scissor Hands with the blokes from Two Pints, but they couldn't so went to the newsreaders early, and then went to Emma Bunton early as a result, leaving a gap at the end to fill.

I think Newsreaders is coming up after the news on BBC NI, also did anyone see Lawrie Sanchez duet with your woman from atomic kitten!
