Surprisingly Sricly Come Dancing is coming from TC1. Usually when Children In Need is on they go to Blackpool because the studio is occupied.

That's a very fast turnaround

They are not comming from TC1, but they are comming from the old TOTP studio.

Really? I couldn't tell the difference at all.

In the results show, the vox-pops items were all conducted outside the door to Studio 3. I thought the stage looked narrower, and the band were nearer the back of the stage, but it was all marginal stuff.

I recorded the newsreaders and thought they were pretty good, much better than last year's attempt at Bohemian Rhapsody. Sadly I never saw them do the Rocky Horror, which I'm sure would have been the best one.
One question about the musical acts (including the newsreaders) - are they all mimed? I'm sure at times they were out of sync. It seems a shame if they are though as they are professional musicians and so shouldn't be that hard to play live.

I don't see what this torrent of abuse against Natasha Kaplinsky is all about. She did a good enough job on the night and wasn't nearly as hyper and annoying as Gaby Roslin was.

Highlights are on the Children in Need section of the BBC website. The overnights are in and points to note. It beat I'm A Celebrity by 8.4m to 6.9m and the second edition of Corrie at 8.30pm with 7.8m to 7.5m!!! Shocked

I thought it would get mullered!! And that is why ladies and gentleman it is on every year. Both this and Comic Relief get BBC1 massive audiences all through the evening.

She's a competent presenter but doesn't exactly entertain you while she does it. The same problem with Roslin in my opinion and don't get me started on Fearne Cotton!!

It doesn't help by the fact that all 3 presenters are trying to present the show on their own

Wogan goes off on silly tangents, Kaplinsky talks over him trying to move to the next item etc

They are hardly Fern and Phil or Ant and Dec!

Wogan should probably present the studio bits of the show on his own

True, yet their show beat Ant & Dec on Friday night.

Was there a regional ticker rolling over the national coverage this year, with the regions soft opting. I can't remember if I saw one or not

I often wonder if these late night viewing figures even include those who've left the telly on and fallen asleep in front of it -as technically they're not "viewing" the programme!

Didn't notice one on East Midlands or Look North regions.
