Bit random but does anyone still have their £1 scratch n sniff book from about 10 years ago? Laughing

I do, I was 8 at the time was thrilled to bits with it. Scratched as hard as I could to get the smells but it didn't seem to work very well!

Considering that last year's total was £17m, this year's seems to be a major disappointment with the total on the website at the moment being £11,582,722. I don't think enough people are going to sit up until 2am and donate another £6m are they? Unless some big companies donate again?

Just refreshed the webpage and it's changed to £12.6m! I'm not watching it, to be honest, so I don't know if Sainsbury's or whoever have donated anything, it just seems an awful lot at this time of the night/morning!

Argh! Can't stand all this merriment!!!

Better spending the money keeping people alive in Africa, rather than spending it on those who are slightly less fortunate, but can still be dependant on the government for nexessities in this country methinks.

Life vs. new youth centre..... not a difficult choice.

What a jump in the total from £12million to just over £16million in about 45 minutes or so.So they are well on their way to matching/beating last years total of £17million.

The total is pretty much determined at the start of the night. They only get about a quarter of a million phonecalls on the night, the rest comes from corporate donations.
