Children In Need 2017

I thought it was awesome - Anne was acid tongued as ever - sour and dour as she always was!! I thought it was good that it was pretty basically the same as it was, apart from 2 fewer contestants. You don't want her to be mellower, or even someone else present the show (as has been rumoured earlier this year) as it wouldn't be the same.

She did say at the end "Join us again for The Weakest Link!" - which I presume, means it will be returning at some point!! Either that, or they hadn't changed the autocue since it was last on.

Basically, Anne has been quiet on TV recently, doing a few series of Watchdog and a few documentaries and she wants to make her big comeback as the Queen of Mean - which is alright by me!!

I do like his suggestion, however, that Judge Rinder should host the show if it does make a proper comeback. True, it wouldn't be *quite* the same without Anne - but then Countdown hasn't been quite the same without Twice Nightly, yet is still going and still has plenty of fans...

Well, Anne can't be around forever... and there's certainly no reason why the host can't be a man, either.

It's basically a pilot. That's how Crystal Maze came back. Stand Up For Cancer charity show, then it came back for a full series but with a different host.

Many will likely disagree, but I'm surprised at how good Matt Edmondson is at being a telly presenter.

It's just a shame that Rochelle Humes is coming across as a bit self-involved and screechy.

I think he'd be too over the top.

I think since 10.40 Cin has gotten better.

I'm guessing they couldn't get the rights to a Mr and Mrs bit and instead themed a quiz about how well Rochelle and Marvin know each other around Mastermind.
